How to: Properly Wear Level Snowboard Gloves with BioMex Wrist Guards

One question we hear quite often from customers is where the BioMex Wrist Guard should be positioned when wearing LEVEL gloves or mittens.

If you measure your hand properly and buy the correct size gloves, then the guard will naturally sit right where it should - the top half of the guard wrapping around the bottom half of your palm, and the bottom half of the guard sitting right on top of your wrist.

Check out the sequence of images below to see what's happening underneath the outer shell and to see where the LEVEL BioMex wrist guard should be positioned...

Kind of boring photo...but this shows what it looks like with the gloves on your hand and the wrist guards in place.

If you pull the inside glove liner out of the exterior shell, this is what it looks like. The sequence of items from your skin to the outside...1. inside liner, 2. BioMex guard, 3. exterior shell.

Now, let's put it all back together and put the glove on your hand. The BioMex wrist guard sits in between the inside liner and the outer shell.  The "xray" image below shows where the guard sits underneath the outer shell when the gloves are on your hand:

Hi Anna, Level does not sell the guards separately, due to their specific design being integrated with the gloves and wrist strap. They don’t want people trying to use the BioMex without the gloves – they work together to provide the protection. With that having been said, we do have a limited parts inventory and if I can find your original order with us, we can work directly with you to see if we have the correct guard available. Please contact us directly for assistance.

Hello, can you buy just replacement wrist guards – one of mine has gotten broken but gloves still in mint condition! Thanks

No, I’m sorry. Level does not make a skateboard glove with the BioMex guard built in. Check out the Triple Eight Hired Hands for a robust skate glove with wrist protection built in.
