LEVEL Gloves "Round" Fingertips - Explained

LEVEL snowboard gloves come with a "Round" finger tip construction. Why round and not square?

Rounded finger tips don't have seams or pointed edges at the end of your glove fingers. A rounded tip helps prevent your fingers from catching or hanging up on objects - like your board edge. The round shape makes for more predictable and smooth movements across different surfaces.

Square finger tips have a seam or seams that can interfere with your grip or hang up momentarily on surfaces (like a board edge).

When you combine the round fingertip design with LEVEL's Kevlar surface, you have a glove design optimized for the unique requirements of snowboarding. Kevlar makes the finger tips durable, and the round shape makes gripping more predictable.
