What are "Gauntlet Style" Cuffs on LEVEL Gloves?

Cuff style comes down to a matter of personal preference. Nearly all LEVEL snowboard gloves come with gauntlet style cuffs. Why? Because they're better at keeping the snow out.
The two different cuff designs are:
- Under cuff / short cuff. The gloves will end right at your wrist, with a slim design that is intended to fit underneath your jacket sleeves. Short cuffs are nice, clean looking, and low profile. But they do require your jacket have velcro adjustments at the cuff in order to seal out snow from your sleeves.
- Over cuff / gauntlet style. Just the opposite of the under cuff style, gauntlet style cuffs are designed to fit over your jacket sleeves. Gauntlet / over cuff designs typically have a cinch elastic strap and clip that allow you to tighten down the end of the cuff against your jacket sleeves.

The gauntlet style cuff is the best design to keep the snow out of your gloves and your jacket sleeves. Keeping snow out - and staying dry - is job 1 when trying to keep your hands warm.

LEVEL snowboard gloves are almost exclusively gauntlet style as it allows enough room around the wrist area for the BioMex wrist guards and wrist strap on the outside of the gloves.
